Overview

Establishes, manages, and leads the Power Distribution and Transmission systems practice efforts and develops innovative solutions for all practice projects including project delivery, risk management, quality of design and technical processes, financial management, project-team personnel and client development. 

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Power Distribution and Transmission systems with ability to guide and lead others based on deep expertise in a specific market.
  • Provides expertise in client management for contract negotiation, winning work strategy, growing market share, and ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Responsible for the total success of their team including financial health, people health, and client satisfaction.
  • Provides direct mentorship and supervision of team as well as assist with performance evaluations and salary reviews.
  • Develops and executes team business plan and marketing strategy.
  • Prioritize and manage the team while managing team workload.
  • Periodically act as Lead Project Manager role for multiple projects and mentor and grow other Project Managers and Technical Staff.
  • Responsible for winning work and growing market share.
  • Leads Proposal and pursuit initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • 15+ years experience with Power Distribution and Transmission systems.
  • Professional Engineer required.
