Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction phase
  • Oversee technical direction.
  • Monitor that the project is constructed in compliance with contract documents, budget, and schedule.
  • Establish project procedures, problem-solving activities, budget reviews and certifications needed.
  • Prepare agendas and conduct project related meetings
  • Review contractor’s construction schedule and monitor progress for adherence
  • Review contractor claims
  • Review and approve contractor’s pay applications
  • Interface with clients and contractors
  • Interface with project stakeholders
  • Maintain project tracking logs and documentation
  • Monitor safety programs onsite
  • Initiate document revisions, project reviews, and processes change orders.
  • Receive and distribute test reports.
  • Manage inspectors assigned to project
  • Prepare lists of items to complete or correct and establish close-out procedures
  • Perform post-construction services and investigations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of construction management tracking and scheduling programs
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects construction (technology, equipment and methods)
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
