Under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer, the candidate shall perform a variety of civil engineering work related to muncipal engineering design/assessment and drawings/specifications preparation. The position requires candidate to have a bachelor's degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering and 5+ years of experience in a related technical area. Candidate should have some knowledge of commonly used design concepts, practices, and procedures and be able to take instructions and follow pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions typically require a growing capacity forindependent judgment, but may will require candidate to coordinate with supervisor when questions/issues arise. Candidate will report to a supervisor or project manager and shall be able to work within a team environment.
This position will support municipal engineering tasks including roadway, water, sewer design and may also support me with construction management for CoSA projects.
