Responsibilities

The applicant will be responsible for supervising, directing, and coordinating construction management and/or Bridge construction projects including direct liaison with owner, designers, and contractors regarding project feasibility, cost, staffing, completion, maintenance. Will negotiate change orders with contractor, formulate and implement budget and work plan; prepare project status reports, and oversee the construction in accordance with contract documents. Ability to supervise inspectors. Coordinate with private utilities, property owners, businesses etc. Ability to communicate through e-mails and be a liaison with TxDOT & Design Engineer.

Qualifications

  • Urban or rural roadway construction experience and particularly bridges, concrete and asphalt pavement replacement.
  • Traffic control issues.
  • Coordination with private and public utilities to relocate their lines during construction.
  • 7+ years experience in field.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer - Texas Civil
  • Relevent Experience must include Toll Road Authority or TxDOT standard projects with Bridge construction preferred.
